How many Worlds can I create?
There is no limit to the number of worlds a curator can create. Curate beyond your imagination — A world can represent different exhibits, events, and more.
Are Worlds smart contracts?
No - creating a world adds data to the Foundation Marketplace contract; Worlds is not a smart contract. Adding Worlds data to the blockchain is an action that costs gas. Gas fees are the cost of interacting with the Ethereum blockchain and are not set or collected by Foundation.
How many NFTs can a seller list in a world?
There is currently no limit to the number of NFTs that a seller can list in a world.
Where can I see the list of sellers added to my world?
By viewing the world landing page and clicking ••• on the right of the collection - you can see the wallet addresses that are on the allowlist.
Can a curator control what’s listed in a world?
When sellers are added to a world, they can list any NFT they own in the world. Please coordinate tightly with sellers on what to list.
Who can add NFTs to a world?
Sellers who have been added to an allowlist by a curator can list their NFTs in a world.
Can a curator remove NFTs listed by sellers in my world?
No - NFTs within your world can only be listed or unlisted by the seller who owns the NFT.
How many NFTs can I add to my Worlds Home Tab?
Up to 100 NFTs can be added to your Worlds Home Tab.
Can I list an Editions collection in a world?
Yes - after the creator has been invited as a seller to the world, they can create an Editions collection and launch it within the world. The curator fee will apply to the mints of your Editions collection.
Can I add an Editions collection to my Worlds Home Tab?
Only 1/1 NFTs can be added to a Worlds Home Tab for now.
Can I remove an edition collection from my world?
An edition collection cannot be removed from a world - the collection will need to be self-destructed to no longer appear in the world. Learn more about self-destructing an Editions collection here.
Can I list an NFT in a world if it was in another world before?
Yes, you can list your NFT for sale in a world even if it was previously listed in another world.
Will Worlds have a tab on my Foundation profile?
Yes - once you create a world, a Worlds tab will be visible on your profile.
Can I list in a world and set my own reserve price outside the world at the same time?
No - NFTs that are listed in a world cannot be listed elsewhere at the same time. For more information on how to sell NFTs in a world, take a look at this help article.
Can I make changes to my allowlist after creating my world?
Yes, if you have fewer than 100 sellers on your allowlist, you can add more by viewing the allowlist on your World page and clicking “+Add Sellers”. Up to 100 other sellers can be included in a world. Once added, the new sellers cannot be removed.
What happens when an NFT is sold in my world?
When an NFT is sold in a world, it will no longer appear on the Listings tab. If the NFT was previously added to the world’s Home Tab, it will remain there until you choose to remove it. If removed, you won’t be able to add the NFT to the Home Tab again. The record of the sale will always be shown on the Activity tab.
Who’s responsible for Foundation’s Marketplace fee for NFTs sold in a world?
The seller who listed the NFT pays Foundation’s Marketplace fee from the proceeds of their sale.
How do I delete a world?
To delete a world, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the world page and click •••, then click “Delete”.
- Confirm the deletion on the next page.
- Sign the transaction in your wallet and pay the required gas fees to complete the transaction to delete the world. Gas fees are the cost of interacting with the Ethereum blockchain. Gas fees are not set or collected by Foundation.
