What is Worlds?

  • A web3-native curation tool.
  • A new curation experience.
  • A new collector environment.

How many Worlds can I create?

There is no limit to the number of worlds a curator can create. Curate beyond your imagination — a world can represent different exhibits, events, and more.

Are Worlds smart contracts?

Worlds are NFTs that live in their own dedicated smart contract, where ownership is now represented with an NFT.

Where can I see the list of sellers added to my world?

By viewing the world landing page and clicking ••• on the right of the collection - you can see the wallet addresses that are on the allowlist.

Can I make changes to my allowlist after creating my world?

Yes - you can add more sellers to an allowlist by viewing the allowlist on your dashboard, and clicking “+ Add Sellers”.  You can also remove sellers from your allowlist by accessing your dashboard and clicking on the Allowlist tab. You can select the ••• next to the seller that you wish to remove from the allowlist and click confirm removal. This transaction occurs onchain and requires a confirmation in your wallet.

I’ve been removed from the Allowlist of a World, what next?

As a seller, when you have been removed from the allowlist of a World, you cannot add any new NFTs, Editions, or Drops to that World. Any existing Drops, Editions, and NFTs will continue to remain in the World.

You can remove the NFT from the World by unlisting the NFT from the World and you can also update the Buy Now and/or the Reserve Auction price for an individual NFT without removing it from the World.

Drops and Editions cannot be removed from a World and will need to be self-destructed to be removed from the World.

Remember that unlisting NFTs from a World is an onchain action. NFTs, Drops, and Editions that are not unlisted from a World will still have curator fees.

Can I customize my Worlds homepage?

What chains can I create a World/Exhibition on?

Foundation currently supports creating Worlds and Exhibitions on Ethereum Mainnet. We have opened up creating worlds and exhibitions on Base Mainnet to select worldbuilders and have more updates planned soon.

Why can’t I add my Base Drop to a World?

Foundation only supports importing Base Highlight Generative Series to a Base World or Exhibition. Access is currently limited, but we plan to open up more access soon.
