• When you mint NFTs on Foundation, the artworks and their metadata exist forever on the Ethereum blockchain. All of the data recorded on it is available for the public to view and access and it can’t be changed. Making data publicly accessible is a fundamental property of the metaverse.

  • For example, Foundation is integrated with OpenSea—an aggregator site for all of the NFTs on the Ethereum blockchain. Your NFTs will be viewable on Foundation, and also viewable on OpenSea. NFTs are portable which means they can travel anywhere online. As long as an API calls for the publicly available data to add your work to their site, your NFT can technically be distributed anywhere across the metaverse.
