Once you’ve minted your NFT (if you haven’t done this yet, read our guide here), click “Continue” to prepare your artwork for auction.
You’ll start by setting a “reserve price” for your work, which is the minimum amount of ETH you’d be willing to accept. Collectors will see your reserve price, and won’t be able to bid below it.
There will be a 15% service fee charged to the final sale price of your NFT, so make sure to take that into consideration when setting your reserve price.
Once a bid has reached your reserve price, a 24-hour auction will begin.
If a collector places a bid at the reserve price, and there are no other bids placed, the piece will go to whoever placed the highest bid.
If a bid gets placed within 15 minutes of the close of the auction, the countdown will reset back to 15 minutes.
